Meeting Mom/Parent is a new thing I am trying out this year to help get parents/family more involved with our troop. This person will be responsible for coming up with a presentation, craft or other idea to occupy approx 15-20 minutes of a meeting.
Presentation: If you have a special talent, occupation, expertise on a certain subject. You could come and speak to the girls. Ex. Mackinzie Wagner's dad Brian is a dentist. He could come and speak to the girls about the importance of oral hygiene. This is just an example and Brian you are not obligated to come, but we would love to have you!
Craft: If you are crafty, I would love for you to come and do a craft with the girls. They LOVE crafts! I know several of you that are very crafty, to drop some names, Dessie Willis or Rachel Boeglin. You wouldn't even have to pay for the supplies. I can reimburse you for materials out of troop account. I do ask that you try to keep it around $20.
At the parent meeting I will have a sign up sheet to fill these spots. Please consider!!!
